Come and Join us
Taking on an allotment gives you a chance to meet and chat with your immediate neighbours. As a plot holder, coming along to help at one of our occasional working parties or social events not only helps us to improve the site for the benefit of all, but also introduces you to others in our community.

End of Season Barbeque
29 September 2019
We were lucky with the weather and more than 30 of us enjoyed a very successful end of season barbeque in occasional bursts of glorious sunshine. Hot dogs, beef burgers, vegan options and home-made salads were readily devoured - all washed down with a choice of beer, wine, or a soft drink.

Working Party
24 February 2019
Summer came early to this morning's working party and it was shirt sleeves all round. The newly created plot was rotovated and cleared of many bags of rubble, plastic and wood, and is now ready for cultivation. The supporting frame for a new notice board was erected and will be completed over the next week or so. Chippings forming the base of a path from the gate into the site were laid down.
Christmas Meet
9 December 2018
Christmas drinks were held in the new community area, which provides a focal point for members' events. Over successive working parties, this community area, a new half-plot, and additional parking have been introduced. Fruit trees have been planted on top of a newly created bank, and a framed rectangle filled with bark chippings provides a home for a picnic table or two. The Association gives thanks to the Long Ditton Village Hall Trust for their generous grant of financial assistance with this project.
